ok, I figured it out. and boy do they make it difficult to figure out. apexi has the wrong diagram in the safc wiring manuals, you have to look in the installation manual to find the correct wiring for our karman maf sensors. The orange wire that comes from the safc goes to the maf sensor side...

looks like you have the same pos steering wheel cover on it as I do.

same problem here, and I highly suspect it's my turbo also. Last time I checked the shaft play it was getting kinda bad.

yep, headers, full 2.5" exaust, fipk, toikico's all the way around, tanabe drop springs, eibach swaybars. and it has 54k original miles. I'll probably be out in your direction in a couple of weeks. I'll give you a call.
