you should have been able to determine if it was the valve seals. Just like mine... Except I'm thinking it's the guides themselves are to blame in my engine. and BTW I'll need that seal tool also because I finally got a head to start working on.

actually no, the original fittings were barbed fittings that screwed into 1/8" bspt threads. I opened it up (on the bridgeport) and re-tapped it out to a 1/8" npt. Then installed 1/8"npt to -6 fittings.
and from the looks of those fittings, I'll have to open the afpr up some more and re-tap it...

I also wanted to mention that the shop where you took your engine is one of the last places I would have machine work done by.... and if you get the head off I can come by with a dial bore guage and check to make sure the bores were done correctly
have fun injecting all the rubber from your fuel system through your injectors and into your ingine. That's just what I want to do.........
in order to run alchohol/ethanol you have to replace all of the rubber in your fuel system with viton or teflon. Just for starters.
