There is a metal cylinder that goes through the block to hold the dipstick and I don't know how to get it out to put it in my new engine. Have any of you guys had to change one? I was just going to beat it out of the block, but I didn't want to risk breaking anything.

Wait, so if I have my blown US engine and I buy a JDM engine are there any real foreseeable hang ups getting the new one in. I can just take all the working stuff off my US engine and put it on the JDM long block right?
