Did you follow the sensor check procedures? If it fails then your wiring isn't hooked up correctly.

I have mine set .025 running 18-20 psi with no DLI and i have no break up all the way to 7k rpm. Even at .028 it didn't break up but it seemed to run better @ .025.

Standard or stiff spring? For stiff spring you need to be boosting 18+ psi for it to open. if you have the standard spring you can adjust it to the softest setting. Also make sure you a have a good vacuum source not teed off from anything.

you got this shit all mixed up. here's how i ran mine and it works great. com port - connect to top port of wg NC port - teed off to bottom port of wg and compressor outlet NO port - no connection leave unplug

I did more tuning this weekend with the fuel pressure set at 35 from 40psi and re-tune the safc with less fuel correction. After several pulls in 3rd and 4th gear my AFR now reads 11.5-11.7 from 5200 to 6800 rpm. My butt dyno tells me the 1j seemed to run stronger with this tune. Hoping to put...

I have a AFPR and set it to 40psi (vaccum off) and fuel correction is -18 to -20 from 5200 to 6800rpm. I'm going to drop the fp to 35-38 and re-tune. Hope your theory works and I will post result after I dyno it again next week. If not, i'm ditching the safc and going AEM ems like Pedro...

Jay: Is that with your 1jz? What fuel and ecu are you running? Also, which rollers did you dyno? (Mustang/Dynojet)? I'm running stock cams, stock ecu, 440s with just a safc and a lousy tune. LOL :biglaugh:. My turbo is capable of much much more, just got to get it tune right.

^^^ Thanks. Dynojet would have shown prolly in the 390s. There's a guy in SF dynoed his car 420 @ 19psi and he claimed his afr is below 12. I'm going to re-tune it at the dyno this time to be safe. Hopefully I can get more power and still keep the afr in check in the 11s. Hey u noypi, where...
