I could make one up. There are so many tricks out there to get a smooth vector image with paths. I'm surprised no one ahs done it and jsut using photoshop:3d_frown: but it's all personal preference and what your going for in the outcome.
good call. Do that first but hook it up right. i have had cracks on the wastegate part of the housing on my CT with no oil residue anywhere . And don't know if i would target the turbo so quickly even though that crack doesn't look good.
Question is. Can you change the exhaust housing from an on-center one to a tangential one? I've had the maxx T4 adaptor which requires an on-center housing - but now I'm using an ss autochrome one. Can any problems occur by doing this. Just want to know.
i am running a turbonetics T60-1. And...
Reign, please don't part it. your car needs you. and you know you couldn't just drive around a stock supra. i havent seen one of those since '98. And to make you feel better It's going on 5 years for me and I have no intention of selling/parting it because when it's complete, it will be the best...
I will nash, I'm sure it works jsut as good as it looks. I like keeping the long runners for that extra top end.
and damn I need to get some pictures up and continue this thread. I will have my new part by the end of this week. So I can show more progress.
if you want a little more power without having to trick your computer, then just get an electronic exhaust cutout, or a nice CAI. it will run about the same price as teh FCD. and clean your 440's
so your saying you need to remove coil packs, i/c pipe, etc. 5 times to continuously re-torque the head bolts. Somehow I think I got confused and I've been reading.
this thread is pretty funny. but we've all been there. love the pic of the dangling wires. lol. I didn't bother to read the whole thing. Maybe if I stumble across it later or if you tell us what happened I might. glad to see it's running now.:biglaugh:
Hey hey Jay, I know you are talking about me being one of them. I'm just a slow-learner with no time. I can use that as an excuse right? lol. And by the way, the cars value is only going to rise. I've been at 124k for 4 years. Thats about the only positive thing I can say. I hate you. lol
absolutely the greatest looking supra anywhere in the world. You really can't compare to how pristine it looks. I would just sit here and compliment your car forever and also look at it non-stop. Awesome job you guys did on completing this car.

welcome. and can't wait to see that build.:icon_bigg
My friend has a 71 240z and built it for autocross with triple webers, highlift cams, etc. he regrets it now and wishes he;d put a 2j or rb motor. Id say go 2jz if your goal is to make it extremely quick with equal torque. I believe thats...
ya mon, try new plugs
just incase the same happens to mine when i start it up (last was about 2 years ago also) i was safe and bought a whole box of ngk's. and thats after theres new plugs in already.
get a DD and a factory supra manual. disassemble the whole entire engine(first put on a stand), label everything. find out what each part does, etc., test-check each part properly, get new parts if needed, put it all back together. then drive for a couple months making sure all is good.(could...
