Not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but one of my pcv hoses had a split right on the valve cover nipple, so whenever I accelerated and shifted my rpms would jump up pretty hard.
Yea, it's actually one of the biggest myths around here. Guys pull up to random meets all the time askin if anyone knows where "that station that has 93 octane" is at. Always love tellin em "about 250 miles east"
Cause 93 doesn't exist up here....Last place I saw 93 was in Kansas on my way from buying the sup in Tennessee :(
unleaded: 85
mid: 87
premium: 91
but my car has never seen less than 91.
That car is absolutely beautiful, I'm sure if you had sold it you'd regret it the moment you watched It drive off. I bought my supra in July 06, due to many wireing/electrical problems (good ol 7m runs great when the brains let it :) ) to his day I've probably drove....10k miles? But I just...
For some. My friend bought a $600 shell. Dropped in a $600 7mgte and ran it for 3 years at 12psi....$100 3" exhaust....motor finally bhg had the head and block decked added studs been driving it 9 months now
meanwhile me...had the car 4 years, drove maybe 15k miles? Prolly 3k of those are in...
When you start your car you use your right foot on the clutch with the door open and one foot out.....
Sooo used to having to jiggle certain wires to get her to start xD
When I saw the title I thought he was gonna wreck it...hopefully someone can give that car to an owner with some sense.
Any guesses why this happened? (beside the obvious supidity)
oil shifting and splashing is my thought
sad to see a nice soundin motor get wasted....
Well Once again jdub is amazing. That clunk was my ujoint slowly being ripped off. Attempting to find who made the shaft failed (all I know is it's from a group buy from a 1st batch of lighweight ds's, previous owner bought)
brought it to Toyota to see what they thought and they referee me to a...
Was this before or after they made the adjustment so that the kit is made for a 7m? It used to say modification was needed, but now it says the kit is ready to go.
I have a very similair clunk during takeoff and shifting (basically anytime I call for a raise in rpm) but I have a 1 piece aluminum ds. It sounds exactly like someone hitting two pipes together. But I have no real vibration until 80mph... So my only guess is my diff.
