Yes a 57 trim will push more are the a stock because of the larger compressor wheel. Psi is really a stuipid way to rate turbos actually. but a 57 will move more air.
At 10 PSI i think you will be fine with out an upgrade fuel system..BUT, i would get a wideband just to make sure. that is...
No i have an original Toyota rebuild book that a Toyo tech guy gave to me for free. its like the TRSM in book form..but better. and it says a crush washer goes in between the the check valve and ISC...so..??? a gasket you say tho? hmmm ill have to look in my gasket kit then i guess..
Finally got to wrench on the car today. i put the alternator and TB on. the was lookin at getting the heater core pipe on...which i think ill have to take off the exhaust manifold for lol but i found two oil seals...:: no :: soooo turns out i forgot to put them on the front of the cam shafts lol...
ah well mines an 87. i think my harness is in ok shap anyways.
but wow, full boost at 3200rpm? or is that when you started to get boost? im running a tiny AR, .58, i want boost fast but wanted the bigger comp wheel.
DO NOT USE GE CAMS IN YOUR GTE MOTOR!!!!
they DO NOT!! increase power at all
read this:http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?572162-DUDE-Should-I-get-a-GE-CAM-For-MY-GTE-!-!
totally just realized this was a 5 year old thread! lol
Really tho guys.. its all in the tune. plenty of guys have even gotten aways with NRP pistons and making 400whp. IMO Probes are good for 500ish...but personally id get JE or CP or Wisecos if your going 600+whp
Or you could get a QTP exhaust cutout haha
but 3'' exhaust isnt bad at all. DMs kit is like 350. i have read its a huge difference. and in my friends stock 7mgte it made a massive difference.
