let me put that a different way, "SPENT ALL OF MY MONEY". $1600 on all of my stuff and damn near $400 on a ebay head that wasnt worth a crap and the guy wont give me my money back. is that better?
im in lafayette. I just payed $150 to fix mine and it was worth every penny. When i would leave work it would take about a 1/2 hour to get home and by then my back would be wet with sweat. KEEP THE AC! IMO
It a cheap filter and bracket that came with the car. I am gona change it soon. The problem is I blew my whole wad on everything else. I can get you the pic. but can you tell me why this would cause my problem. Before the burnt valve , and the head work the car ran fine.

my ground wire is a little frayed where it is connected to the coil pack.
my plugs are brand new denso from toyota
my wires are about a year old, they have a slight layer of oil at the base of them.

most all sups with no major work have an oil leak or two. the amount you are talking about could have been spilled when they changed your oil filter, it happens.
if i were you i would get a fuse tester of just pull your fuses 1 at a time.
get some tools and let your car teach you some patience.
just had the head completly rebuilt, new denzo plugs, all new toyota hoses, cometic HG, ARP studs, new injector clips. compressition is good. valve clearences are close to perfect. I ran the car a week real easey. I noticed if i was pulling out into traffic and i boosted a little it would kind...
my plans were to change the oil and filter, install my new injector clips, compression test, retorque head, flush coolant and refill with good antifrezze. and also was gonna put the coil pack cover and the plastic/rubber under cover back on. while I was doing it I was gona try to put the EGR...
I know that this isnt gona be easey but i am gona give it a try tonight and tomorrow. I think that it might take a few beers to get the job done! :beer:
