I originally had the wiring order correct from two years ago. However, I am now just getting this car running. I haven't been able to work on it in quite a long time and I hate to say it, but I'm rusty as hell. When I was cranking it over yesterday it would not fire and I smelled gas. It appears...
I still don't understand what the TSRM is taking about: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=IG&P=13
Is this wrong? Am I reading it wrong? IT says the wiring order is 56-34-12.
Everyone on here says it's 16-34-25 (which should be correct since my engine did run...
I have a 90T as well and at first I would build fuel pressure even without the engine cranking also. However, now it does nothing. I'll bypass the relay today and give the pump 12v from the diagnostic port just to make sure it still works. I'll be pissed if it doesn't since it's a brand new...
That's what I've heard, so I don't understand how I'm building fuel pressure without cranking the engine. I haven't had time to start trouble shoot the pump. But will start next week.
I don't have any free time until next Tuesday. The first thing I was going to do was add more gas. However, I...
Ok, so I finally got around to getting my project running. At first I wasn't able to engage the starter, so I ran a relay from the battery and that fixed the problem. Now it won't stay running. This engine has never ran before in my vehicle. I have a SAFC2 and VPC wired into a factory JDM ECU...
I was going to go with this exhaust for my setup, I even went ahead and bought the universal 85mm RSR GTII muffler for my diy 3" system. However, after hearing several soundclips I decided it was way too droney at cruising speeds and sounded like a sports bike at WOT. I went a different route...
Most people mount their coolers either to the ac condenser or the back of the intercooler. I have my on my intercooler. I had to trim my coolers edge fins down to fit it in. If you're running anything wider than a 3" IC, you'll need to go the condenser route.
Those exhaust systems have been disco for several years now. Your best bet is to watch the For Sale section as a they tend to pop-up from time to time.
Get yourself some angle-iron and tin snips. Should be able to fab yourself some brackets in under 10 minutes. This was honestly the easiest part of my build.
Good luck.
Not sure it this will be of any help to you. But here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?111575-How-to-cram-a-6.5-quot-with-cast-basket-into-your-door-*Pics*
Orion hasn't been high-end since back in the day when it was owned by A/D/S. When they went bankrupt in the 90's, A/D/S dissappeared and they sold off the names of Orion and Precision Power. As far as I know, they're just China junk now. If you want Orion gear, source the originals off of ebay.
