i just did it with the .90mm and i'm getting continuity at idle and just cracked it goes infinity
i measured the vta and vc terminals and they are in much better spec than my 7m ones so that's a bonus.
So what can i expect if it's still slightly...
it's actually for a 1uz tps & throttle body
i put in the .70mm feeler gauge, i wind it all the way back and start turning it clockwise, when it goes from 0.0* to 1 . is when i tighten it down, assuming thats what deflect meant
i'm finding that even if i put the .90mm feeler gauge in and...
i've verified and reverified i still don't get the correct reading

I've connected idl and e2 on the meter to ohms and i'm trying to set it, so i turn fully clockwise it deflects (i assume this means when it goes to 1 .) so i tighten it up and when i turn the linkage fully i get no continuity let alone...

When i first started Easy seemed impossible LOL... now i can pretty much perfect them and moved on to medium and slowly working through those...
is there anyone that has used a 1uz tps on their 7m for any reason.. e.g ffi etc
basically i want to know if i can use the 1uz tps, i've noticed it has a different type of plug but same pinout but the specs read differently on them and i'm not sure if they're still within or if i have to...
ahhh now theres the catch hehe... i can't put it on the throttle body as i have a 1uz throttle body and it's not set up for a supra tps, i was trying to find info on the 1uz tps to see if it had the same values as a supra one and same plug and if so buy a new 1uz one rather than a supra one...

i was just curious as to my grounding issue... E1 when i check for continuity to ground should always be there right?
and E2 you say is switched to ground via the ecu
So with the switch off i should have...
just measured against the tsrm and both are out of spec :(

VC - E2 = 6.58ohms (Spec is 4.25 - 8.25ohms)
VTA - E2 = 0.13ohms (Spec is 0.2 - 1.2ohms)
89+
VC - E2 = 6.75ohms (Spec is 4.25 - 8.25ohms)
VTA - E2 = 0.05ohms (Spec is 0.2 - 1.2ohms)
I have perfect grounds on E1 & E2...
