Mine never downshifts when I want it to, and won't get past 5000 RPMs
when you floor it there is a delay before actual acceleration, if it decides to downshift
I miss my 5 speed, but it could be the old, beaten auto in my car has issues.

seems like if the subframe is in good condition, there won't be issues
look for cracks and problems ahead of time
let people who know exactly what to do reply before making decisions though, i've been searching out of...
well, i'll find out
took a gamble and bought it with the seller only knowing that it was in good condition, no shaft play, 145 for a good condition 60 trim is a good deal in my book, as long as it works good
depends on the area i'm parking in
I have some nice stuff in the hatch, if its a real bad area I simply won't park there, plenty of other places, and a walk from a further parking lot does the body good ;)
This thread is slowly being answered by me as I continue to search
it looks like a T04e compressor wheel... problem is these are in 54, 57 and 60 trim, and I cannot tell from the picture what size it is, again... this is all my guesswork, anyone else?
anyone know exactly what type of CT26 this is just from this picture
trim size, identification of compressor wheel from the fins?
Thanks, couldn't find a thread that hinted at things to look for from a simple picture
In one of my classes the teacher brought up the fact that Massachusetts drivers are crazy compared to the rest of the country.
Other kids from out of state agreed.
One person brought up the fact that in rotaries in the south people tend to alternate, yielding to let cars in. In...
On the car, I don't mind where it is installed, its a BIC DDP to a 3 inch exhaust I know it is supposed to be 30 inches from turbo but I don't mind installing around the area of the stock sensor.
Car also has removable test pipe if that makes things easier
I cannot find a garage that will do it for less than 40, don't know if theres anyone here that is near lakeville/taunton/new bedford/fall river that will do it for a six pack or a bottle of jack?
Bonus if you have a bung, if not I need to get one, either way we can work it out if you have the...
size does not matter... I can turn the gun down so that I can hold the end from turning, I have to show a picture of the bolt I used that got stuck, if it was actually metal I would have been fine, I just grabbed the first 12mm hex bolt with the proper thread in my misc. bucket of bolts
Also...
the bolt was going in nicely as slow as if I was using a screw driver, but the first impact destroyed it, even a ratchet would have twisted the head right off... I have no idea what the bolt was for, but it was entirely useless
1/2 big snapon air impact set to low, was going in slow and I found out that it was a "hollow" bolt full of another material, not a solid bolt, I just found a 12mm and used it not thinking.
this car was 2 people's baby... The first owner did all the maintenance and more, and whenever he had an inkling of something going wrong he brought it to the dealer, I have EVERY reciept and many have things saying "idle seems high" or "when turing owner thinks he heard a noise"
The second...
Cool my LSD is working like new then... my car was babied it's entire life (reciepts show the LSD fluid changed 3 times at a toyota dealership in Florida, 4 counting my doing it, and at almost 130000miles I would say thats pretty good.
I appreciate the help, thanks!
Good news for my diff then...
So if one wheel is grounded I should only be able to turn the other wheel in the air with a helluva lot of force, correct?
I appreciate the quick reply, you're the best around here
