 thanks for the input guys... I was back probing, I think that was the issue (I hope) looks like you're supposed to take the connector/plug off (I did not)
shit... I've got an analogue one
so it says @ .7-.9 I'm supposed to lose continuity, but I can't get it to do that at all -_-
jeez how could I miss that, you're not supposed to back probe it....
but still the TPS is installed backwards from the way mine is facing in the diagram does that...
sorry, I don't take pics while driving... i took the car out for a spin since It's been sitting for a week (don't like to let my cars sit) although it has no tags and no exhaust... no big deal. got her nice and warm and hit it hard since it's cold as hell out (had to see what she's got) turns...
so w/ the top two pins back-probed you are supposed to be able to adjust the TPS to break continuity, correct? then w/ a feeler gauge (of proper size of course) you are supposed to adjust it back to obtain continuity? not so on mine. the continuity decreases or increases when I turn it, but...
well, as it turns out I'll be getting some pillowball mounts w/ adjustable camber plates up front (rears aren't adjustable) and I'll be putting in all fresh poly bushings... so is fitment of different wheel manufacturers/models different from each other?.... if so this could get hairy
so, I see that these will be an issue running stiff springs... does anyone make poly strut cushions, or should I just get aftermarket pillow ball mounts?
wow  got some shiny stuff for the soup :p a/r 100 eh? must be building a top-end monster :evil2:
now I've gotta ask, since I've been trying to obtain parts for my car (and have been met with miserable failure) how do you go about ordering parts from toyota?
reason I ask is...
planning for future, still have a long list of things to sort, but w/ fn01rc's would 17x9 +15 and 17x10 +25 fit well w/ a minor roll? (would +20 fit better up front?)
also one more thing... I've never fooled around w/ the suspension on these cars... is there any hardware I'll need to get the...
for sure... car needs a lot of work... but it's got cancer in one wheel well, so I can't really bear to let it go unatended to... I'd love to get it sitting right as far as suspension and wheels go first, but like I said.... clearcoat is toast as well, otherwise I'd just leave it burgundy and...
I know... personally I'm leaning towards the graphite pearl or the grey metallic (I saw a 92 mkiii w/ the graphite pearl and it looked amazing)
that studio shot of the 1G0 did look great though
here's a better shot of 1G0
and 1C6 on a mkiii
yes I changed the photo for 1g0, because that studio shot just wasn't realistic (although real)
I just realized that 167 came on our cars, I just didn't see a single one in the silver supra thread... although I've seen one around town and it looks GREAT
i think the is300 looks FANTASTIC...
