Again, my main reason for doing it balance. I have a ton of carbon fiber, a cf hatch that will get lexan, a stripped car ( most of which is in the middle / back and some front ), and I want the balance. Stock the MK3 is 52/48 I believe but when my car is all done my goal is to make it perfect...

I actually got super lucky when I bought my 89+ tails. This dude who owned a shop had a IMMACULATE mk3 that someone hit and he parted it out. I got his tails and I'm telling you they looked perfect: His car was a black targa 5 speed turbo with TAN interior!

Bumping this very old thread because I'm currently having the same problem getting it out as well as thinking it may be CPS related since I have a brand new reman starter. If it's not the starter no big deal because my knock sensor is fucked anyway so I'm replacing it. I don't have any fancy...
