The factory 90-92 steering wheels are still my favorite. Having a functioning airbag is just the icing on the cake.
It's not much to get them recovered and they look and feel great. Here's mine with new leather (thanks Facime) and the center was painted with Automagic vinyl paint.
Here's how I did mine.

Should give you a few ideas. Also, check the link in the thread's last post for how I sealed the doors.
I love my 5" Blitz SUS filter. Sounds great too and supposedly breaths great as well. Not as effective filtering dirt as some of the others, but I don't drive down dusty dirt roads either. At least it filters better than a velocity stack. :biglaugh:
Mine is quiet. There are no moving parts in the EMS, so don't know why yours would be producing any sounds. Are you sure it's not rattling against something under the dash?
If you look at my sig, you'll see I'm actually using a v1. It was the last one that left AEM for an 89-92 Supra to my knowledge. I had to wait 2 weeks for them to find a box for it. It came in a v2 box with the v1 30-1130 sticker on the side. The sticker on the actual EMS says: v1 Rev.B Mod.C...
I forgot to mention. I ran both the EMS and serial gauge cables through the radio area and out by the shifter, and out the passenger side of the center console. The both are plugged together in between the center console and passenger seat. Very easy to unplug then and run the needed plug to a...
Ok, so back when I was looking around for inspiration on where to install my AEM EMS, I couldn't find anything. So I've created this thread to help others. First, I removed the factory ECU and ABS ECU. The ABS ECU had all mounting tabs removed and was then wedged to far right corner. All...
Looks like I'm resurrecting a year old thread. I'm moving to North Charleston at the end of February. I just went apartment shopping over the weekend and did not see a Supra presence at all. Looks like there's a big Honda community down there though. Any Supra owners in the Charleston or the...
Was on the phone with AEM again today, (this time because AEMPro wasn't showing HS1 as an option under output configuration, turns out it is dedicated for auto trans torque converter control so guess I'll be using a different HS output for fan control). Anyways, I asked again about the UNGO...
I would not use the sensor ground in plug B as that would almost certainly cause noise in the signal of your other sensors. If your going to power the gauge off of your ems, use the the Ignition Switch for power (pin 2D) and a chassis ground (either pin 13A, 14A or 26A)
Where in the manual does it say that? I read it several places on the aem forums that members were getting more accurate readings in Pro Tuner by running power and ground to the ecu. The aem guy told me today that he does not advise sharing a ground since the controller can pull a decent amount...
When you say "Chassis Ground" do you mean the ones at the ECU from plug A? If so, which one do you tap into as there are 3 of them. Currently I tapped into Chassis Ground 26A. Should this be fine? I spoke with someone at AEM on the phone today and he said not to use a chassis ground from the...

I agree with you there as far as my starter and electric fan relay are concerned. But most people mount their fuel pump relay in the hatch area, so being a sealed unit shouldn't be much of a factor. However, better safe than sorry when the fuel pump is concerned.
That looks pretty good. Found it pretty cheap online at:

Not sure how reliable these are, but I've seen favorable reviews of them on hotrodder forums who use them for fog lights.
I was certain I'd seen a similar thread before but I searched and searched with no luck.
Can anyone shoot me some links of reliable relays to use for the 12v fuel pump mod?
Since I don't want to risk my fuel pump shutting off, what are some high quality relays I can use? All I can find are...
