    Question about TTR spring rates

You're confusing adjustable spring seats and adjustable bodies, If the shock has enough stroke to go from Slammed on the Bump Stops and Monster Truck High I don't see why you'd be concerned, it's not like the Valving is different from one end of the shock to the other? Mine cost me way too much...

    Question about TTR spring rates

If you lower the car you compress the Shock... there's no way around that, one end is bolted to the car the other to the arm. The Koni's have circlip grooves the sleeves have a receiver groove in the bottom that goes over the clips. Yes Linear.

    Question about TTR spring rates

If you choose the right spring length the short sleeves have more than enough adjustment range, it'll go from slammed on the stops to Monster Truck. Yep

    Question about TTR spring rates

My Koni shop supplied them, nothing special though. You need to run some good, long, progressive bump stops though or you'll destroy shocks. Springs rates I chose are in the pics.

    Question about TTR spring rates

Could always change the perches and use Eibach linear springs in whatever rate and length you need, I did this on the Koni's for my Mk3.

    Higher oil PSI?

The standard cooler circuit from memory was 10mm so under dash 6 lines/hoses into quite a small matrix, barely able to keep up with the stock power levels let alone what most modern 7M's make these days... You can argue till you're blue in the face you're never going to convince me it's worth...

    Higher oil PSI?

The stock Cooler circuit is the most half assed design ever put into a car.... Pressure based means it's active when the Oil is stone cold just when you don't need a cooler.... :nono:

If you're not using it sell it to someone that will, in the end it's just a car and it's one purpose is to be driven, if not it'll rot away in no time...

Help, almost new clutch slipping like hell !

Don't load it up too heavily just drive along at 30 Mph keep the throttle constant and push the clutch in till it slips a bit, let it out to cool off a bit and repeat a few times, you don't want to glaze up the surfaces or over heat anything just clear the rust.

Help, almost new clutch slipping like hell !

Yep might need to slip it a bit to clean the surfaces off.

    ? on conrod cap/bearing

When you resize a rod you take material from the part line making the hole smaller than stock then bore/hone it back to the stock size. New bearing will only "work" if it's lost it's crush fit in the cap, try swapping that bearing shell into another rod and see if it falls out.

Question: plastigauge loose clearances on mains

Tried swapping some shells around to see if you can open up the 050 or close down the 070? In the old days I used to select fit shell using steel wool to polish off some material, clean thoroughly then remeasure. Threads merged

    ? on conrod cap/bearing

Either the bearing has lost it's "Crush" or the Rod is out of round and needs to be re sized.
