Nice. I might send them an email and see how much a set would be for me. I'm thinking about doing this to my car. It should improve the performance, but keep the stockish look I'm going for. Thanks for the follow up!
Today I stopped by a car show/meet on my way home. I was the only Supra there. There was a MK2 Celica Supra too, at least I think it was the Supra version, it had a 2jzge in it, and was pretty rough on the outisde...
On my way out a guy on a Harley pulled up next to me and said he had an 87...
Sorry, but I don't think you're gonna find one off another car that will look good at all. The Supra ones are very square whereas the other cars are usually very round. I couldn't find the ones you mentioned for sale on ebay for the Supra either. I know KevinM, a member here, sells them and some...
I never knew that these types of lifts were so affordable. I always thought they were a super luxury item for only the very wealthy guy who likes to work on his own cars. Good to know for the future for sure.
All good info here, the Magnefine is really easy to install and keeps the suction screen clean too. Maybe your suction screen is so clogged that it isn't letting the fluid through as fast as the pump can take it out and therefore it overflows from the cap when it is being pumped back into the...
How did you bleed it? If it goes from empty to overflowing it sounds like you have air in the system somehow. Have you checked to see if it is leaking anywhere?
I like the ultimate compound, and I LOVE that wax. I haven't used it on the Supra yet because I use the Klasse sealant glaze on it, but I use that wax on my Black 4Runner and it is awesome. I can't use the Klasse on the 4Runner because it streaks bad on black. That wax though, it goes on really...
That looks like a really nice camera, but I can't justify spending that much on a camera right now. I found an open box Sony A3000 mirrorless camera for $217 at Best Buy that I'm seriously considering.
Here's the picture the photographer from the car show last night I mentioned took of my car. He captioned it "one of the cleanest stock Supras i've seen in awhile 2 owner manual less then 100k miles" Doesn't mean much in the big picture, but it feels good to know people notice outside of the...
When I replaced mine I removed the alternator to give myself easier access to the FPU VSV, that is the one under the intake and as AbsoluteSpeed mentioned, it helps with hot starts.
I took the Supra out to a car show last night, and walked back to find a photographer taking pictures of it. He stopped and talked to me for a few minutes and commented on how clean the car is and how there aren't many in as good of shape left anymore. He said if some of the pictures came out...
That's not good. Mine are supposed to be in good shape so I may just do some sort of expanding foam. Fortunately they are coming form the Netherlands so they get less sun exposure there than they would in Australia. The Supra also stays garaged when I'm not driving it so that should help to keep...
Are you talking about the part that will stick out just a little bit when the mirrors are folded? Any suggestions on how to reinforce it?
Most all of the lowering springs would lower the car too much for my likes. I would only want .5-1" at the most.
Well since my last update we had multiple snow/ice storms here so I hadn't driven the Supra in awhile. Even after the snow passed I waited for a few rain storms to come through and wash all the sand/salt/cinder stuff they throw down on the roads here when it snows. I don't want to get any salt...
I think some of the higher power guys have issues with the rear subframe cracking too, so they go and add more supports and reinforcements to it. Just another thing to look into.
