    Dead 7M decision time...

Reminds me a bit of a TSB Toyota had about....15 years ago. The Yamaha produced engine for the Celica with variable valve timing and lift had a TSB for shifter springs in the transmission to save the oil pump and engine. Drivers would downshift to 2 instead of putting it in 4 and the pump would...

    2500 rpm break up

My local Radio Shack closed its doors. Along with 30 others in the metro area from what I read.

DREADED CODE 41. Wont go away. First startup issues too.

You only need to change the housing. I have jobs to do that pay me, so good luck.

There is no fueling issue with the 1UZFE (Lexus) meter with the correct 550s. The only problems were preexisting or installation errors.

Old school AFC (single knob) and wideband question??

How bad does it run at 12:1 on a hot restart? And how hot is Ottwa? Is that the same as Ottawa, Canada?

Another stalling issue thread, please help, I'm losing my mind.

You should un-stress it as much as possible. Yep, that is normal. And Click here, read the whole thing. And pay special attention starting on page 10. Unless you did not pull the EFI fuse for more than 30 seconds on a past problem, this is a problem. And it can cause stalling...

7MGTE running rough after comp. test

It is possible (very) that a plug gap or three was made smaller upon reinstallation.

The IGf signals spark confirmation and injection can continue. The circuit opening relay is commanded on with the STA signal and after the engine pickup signal (Ne). Ne is rpm.

    aluminum radiator question

He didn't even say which radiator, which I nicely pointed out. There is no such thing as an "ebay radiator".

41 is not a TPS adjustment. It means the signal is outside its range. 22 will give you a default of near operating temps. Why not check for spark?

    aluminum radiator question

Well, he can buy and see. Or he can take the advice of not wasting money. Your post was a waste of time and bandwidth, and a primary example of all wrong in automotive. Including a random place like a Firestone service center, where they employ people who don't know what they are doing/don't...

Old school AFC (single knob) and wideband question??

Depending on whose book you are reading (I am thinking of one in particular) the wideband's purpose is greater feedback control. So I don't see fighting it either. Only in the land of giant assholes? If you still have the factory installed TCCS operating the injectors, that is normal and...

Starts fine cold, chokes up on hot start

This is not a Briggs and Stratton. I withheld my comment the first time giving you a chance. I see that was wrong. Compression goes up with temps as the rings expand. Read the manual if you are struggling with this.

    fan clutch

Only your secondary comments were stupid, not the question. The hotter the engine, the less slip the clutch has. But it only holds to a point, it isn't a solid connection. The fans are auxiliary for heat and high A/C pressure.

Starts fine cold, chokes up on hot start

So compression drops with a temperature increase? Fascinating....

    88 Mk3 7MGTE C.P.S. question

You already have the correct technical explanation, but if you don't understand here is a the short hand version. 1. Engine position 2. Engine speed Two signals.
