Yes solder the AFM wire back together. Its the one you cut in half and put one to the Orange AFC wire and the Pink AFC wire. I BELIEVE its Green/Red.

If i were you I would look into the wires for the cps... ill bet you could shake them around a bit and have it work... they get brittle and the connections become corroded etc.

does the tach bounce when you are cranking?

ok changing timing wouldnt eliminate half of the codes you listed... start over. clear ALL codes.... then crank car over and then pull the codes and post what is left on there. also when you are trying to start it, its cranking correct? its just not STARTING?

its probably the brittle old wires for the CPS having a problem. VERY common. Best thing to do to semi-fix the problem for the time being is just play with the wires on the CPS ad harness side and have a friend keep trying to crank the car...eventually youll get it to a point where the tach will...
