No it will not plug up pre-89 and 89+ ecu plugs are different. But more importantly a 5 speed ecu can not run an auto.

They are not the same. Bolts Studs They both do the same job though.

I was thinking ProEFI but it is out of my price range. I think I am going to try and find a second hand AEM EMS V1. But we will see what comes up the next few months.

No way a 315 will fit with no fender work. I have a car running 11.5 +33 with a 295 with a slight pull and it is sill kinda rubbing. Inside is pretty close to the shock too. It should look pretty good.
