500whp will pretty much lite any tire up!!!:biglaugh: Not a whole lot you can do about that, unless you want to run dr's or slicks. You could run the best 'R' compound money can buy, and stay away from 6000rpm launches, that will help too!:icon_bigg

No wheel flares will be necessary. Just don't go crazy with tires, i:e stay with 255/40-18 or smaller for the 9.5's, and 235/40's> f/ the 8.5's. The most you'd need is a fender roll. Those are good sizes and offsets for the MkIII.

I don't think, (but I could be wrong!?) that the powerplant has anything to do with whether or not, the mouldings are interchangeable! With that being said, don't waste your money, with expensive lipstick on a"pig ugly" 87/88!:icon_razz:: badger ::

I wouldn't run those size/offset rims w/o a 10-15mm spacer, or else it will look rediculous! As for tire sizes, go with 235/40's up front, and a 245/40 on the rears. But, please use spacers!:x: Recommend H&R's, very important to keep the hub-centricity!!! (Is that a word?!):biglaugh:

Those are probably either Weds Sa-70's, or MB "Weapon's". Depending on tire size, flush fitment for those sizes would be 5-15mm offset for the 8's, and about, 15 or 20mm for the 9's. I would highly recommend rolled fenders, before any attempt at that aggressive of fitment.

ADR M-Sports...been there, done that. 18x8.5 35mm, and 18x9.5 35mm. Looked good, and balanced so so, but...after only 1 year, the clear coat started to come off!:icon_mad: Once water gets underneath any of the clear coat, it will peel off, in large hazy chunks! IMHO, Stay away!:nono:
