Ok been working on the Soup for about a week now. Went down for BHG work, upgraded injectors, lex AFM, Fluidyne Radiator, Big tranny cooler, and general maintenance. Sooo a friend and I are heading back from parts store after picking up some random nuts/bolts, and I said,

"Hey Chris how do you think my car would look with white wheels instead of the stock color?"

Chris, "That would look sick!"

Me, "Well I was thinking about doing them a dark gold bronzish color."

Chris, "No way man white FTW."

Here are some pics of the P-soup

The white has gotten my attention after I've started doing my engine bay TRD colors. Here's what I've painted so far. (Finished the 3000 numbers in ruby red)

So the question remains White wheels with the Toyota symbol red, Or Goldish color wheels???

those are the two colours I've been playing around with in my head too. Tough call eh? I'm leaning towards the bronzish, so you go white :p
I think white on a red car only looks good with a lot of spokes. I think the bronze would look better on your rims than white.

Nope, can't see gold-bronze on those wheels, don't think it would look right.

I'd go with either the white or black with red border around the rim, black spokes. THAT would stand out. :evil2:

Personally, I wouldnt be a huge fan of white on those wheels (or any for that matter).

Its good that you are asking other peoples opinion, but all in all its your car man. Do whatever you think will look good. We all have varying tastes.

Plus, its just paint. It can always be changed. Go for it man!

I ended up painting a center cap to see what it may look like.

What I'm gonna end up doing is painting one wheel white and another gold. We'll see which one is the winner!

Here are my bronze MKIV TTs. I think bronze looks great on almost any color Supra.
