I just replaced my Throttle body, TPS, and linkage.... it FEELS like I gained a shit load of power, my car FEELS much faster. The feel of the gas pedal change an awful lot as well, its much looser, the RPMS jump way fast with just the slightest touch...

I got really frusterated and grabbed the bar that goes from the linkage to the tb itself. I pulled really hard to the LEFT which closes the tb and for a second I thought the engine died. Everything went way quiet. I went and looked...
My dad and I had an 88T that idled PERFECT at 650. without a seconds thought the rpms would drop down and sit at 650 on the nose.
My 89 will NOT idle like that and iv'e tried everything. I just put in a new throttle body with tps and linkage... i STILL idle at 1000 RPMS

When I did my walbro I followed that tip... I didn't have the box thing it talks about but other than that it sure fixed my fuel problems. Its great to have an acturate gauge again :)

Shit, I bet you're right about the kick down cable. There's a spot for a cable directly on the TB but it actuates backwards compared to the throttle rod... Hm...

I have one on my car and I thought the rest were like it... I got one from my buddy who is parting out an 89 Turbo Auto (Mine's an 89 Originally NA, Manual) and it is totally different.
I didn't grab the throttle linkage and shit...
The dashpot is that little thing on the throttle body right? How can i test that? THE online TSRM is down so I can't get to that...

I searched Oil Pressure Pattern and Oil Pressure Thread... I'm trying to find out the thread pattern for the oil pressure sensor... I just bought an oil pressure gauge and wanna use both the factory one and aftermarket so I wanna 'y' it off...
