So Im prettuy sure thats whats leaking on my car... I picked up another gastank today, just incase its worst case scenario.....

But okay... I cant find the gasket on champion toyota's parts catalog. Is it a gasket after all?

Would silicone work as a double? I cant tell/recall from past experience if silicone and gasoline mix well.....

Also is there a troubleshooting procedure for a fuel pump/fuel level sender people know off their heads? (since the TSRM is down).

Thanks guys.

Thanks Justin!

Now I figure that mine does work. but since I have 2 I might as well try doing this =]

Now for my other questions... +1

When I did my walbro I followed that tip... I didn't have the box thing it talks about but other than that it sure fixed my fuel problems. Its great to have an acturate gauge again :)

If its coming from up top where you cant see it, it could be the bracket for the fuel pump, the hard lines coming out of it rust out, you have to pull the tank down to see it anyhow.

That is another possibility. Thank god I have a doner...

But my #1 problem still hasn't been adressed..... Will silicone make a suitable gasket for a gasoline application?

It is a rubber gasket on the bracket, dealer should be able to look it up easily, also be prepared for the screws breaking off, seized, i always get new screws when pulling a pump.
