    EFI University

I took the EFI 101 course a few months ago in Seattle, it was a great learning experience. It is more geared towards standalone ecu tuning and how to set it up. It was a two day course, with the first day in the class room doing theory, where you learn how and what each engine sensor operates...

    Recommended spark plugs?

I use the 6097's, they are dirt cheap. But I also have a miss at higher boost 17+, but I know the jz coild are notorious for not having enough juice. I am gapped at .025.

    Fuel Filter woes with *PICS*

I had a similar problem when i did mine, so I ended up getting a filter from a 300zx twin turbo, and use a big hose clamp onto the bracket. The 300zx fliter uses a slip on hose for the inlet and outlet. I then got some fuel injection rubber hose, and ran it to the pump side abouyt 6-8" long and...

    competition clutch

I had the CC Iron Man clutch, and it was great.........until it welded itself to my flywheel after a some donuts afetr about 4000 kms. I managed to crank the starter and it "unwelded", and drove it for another month. After I pulled it apart and took out the clutch, it was a mess, the flywheel...

Exhaust, dp, test pipe, catback... 3 inches short

The BIC test pipes are exactly the same length as the stock cat, 11 3/8" long. The JDM JZA70 cat backs are about 1" shorter than the 7m exhausts, which is why i make a 1" longer testpipe for the JZA70 cars. 3" sounds like allot, it would be hard to say whats going on without pics, it sounds like...

BUT!!!!!!!, BIC performance now makes jza70 style brackets for 89+ mk3's. The price is $185 shipped and you will see them in 2 weeks...

Ya its too bad that you started to take it apart. You should have checked it over first and left it alone once you saw that it was the wrong one.

Anyone using an aftermarket MAP sensor?

I was thinking about this the other day too, scince mine is maxing out at 1.16 bar, I have a Mines ecu so there is no boost cut. But the Toyota MAP sensor reads x-volts for x-boost, now if you change the MAP sensor with different calibration, it will read more or less volts for the same amount...

07 Mustang GT Kill, and a bike.....

Well yesterday on the way home from work, I was following a new Mustang GT with a racing stripe and some funky exhaust that came out right behind his rear tires. Well at every light he was revving and took off fast. We finally get to a light where it splits into two lanes and he is still in...

    jdm supra question

I did have a widebody GA70 at my shop a few weeks ago, I thought that it was odd that it didnt have a narrow body. Also I have seen alot of JDM imports that are GA70 narrow bodys, and have a 1jz and Recaro interior swapped into it, so keep an eye out for those, and make sure you get what you...
