    1jz tourqe and diff selection

    I only made 470 Tq with my 1jz (500 whp) :evildeal: ......... I know its pretty lame, but revving to 8000 rpm vs. 6500 with the 7M is priceless:evil2: BTW I used the 3.91 diff and I will now be trying the 4.10 gears in my clutch type lsd this year.

    17"x8.5" +33 offset front, 17"x9.5" +38 offset rear

    I have those sizes in 18", my front offset is +30 and at full steering lock it rubs a bit when going over bumps, and rarely when hitting a big bump at high speed the fronts will hit the plastic fender liner, but i have larger 245/40/18 tires. 17's will fit great. Randy

    Twin GT28rs's/ Disco Poato's are what you guys should be looking into. Dual ball bearing, and super efficiant GT wheels, even at high boost. They will spool a tiny bit (100-200 rpm) slower than the twin gt28R that I have and be easilly able to make 600-650 and possibly 700 whp max at like 30...

    What would a good "manual compression test" look like?

    Normally a 1jz should see about 175 psi on each cylinder, but that is with using the starter to crank it over.

    I am in B.C, just out of Vancouver. Does any one have any true numbers about the gt35R on a 1jz, like dyno sheets spool time etc.... Everyone says its the sweetest setup, but I have found any hard facts yet. People post your results!!!!

    Yes you are correct, because some people get Soarer or Chaser engines with the wrong brackets, and the JZA70 brackets are hard to find, so I made some. The price is the same as the pre 89 style, $175 shipped. Randy
