All Aristo motors I have seen have the vacuum port and that is where most, if not all, JDM 2JZ come from.
The turbo lines and stuff all are the same between the JDM 2JZ and USDM 2JZ when it comes to lines and drains. If you are talking about the wheels, the USDM is better but Albert is the guy...

The tuner could of reset each sensor to make sure they were all right. Everything is the same as the 2JZ which all those sensors settings are available pre-calibrated from AEM.
How are the main grounds on your car? The coils are what brand? Intake manifold ground wires, there are two sets...

The 1JZ and 2JZ all run the same crank gears, cam and crank sensors along with every other sensor for the motor.
What do you mean only revs to 5,000, does it rev to that point and misfire or does it rev there and act as if it's at...

J, you could of had someone change the bolts before you got the motor? I know Felpro makes replacement bolts for JZ engines maybe someone was in there before you. I will contact Curt and see what he says.

I have used that tool I posted. J, post a picture of this bolt. I want see what it looks like as this sounds weird. I have used that tool to remove bolts without a problem.

Used a 12 ton press and had to use harbor freight pullers to get the gears off.
Had an issue with the detents but the EPC in the TSRM helped with that.
Trust me, after a rebuilt gearbox, you will be shifting gears with a simple finger.
