    Wideband

If it is an AEM gauge, you can get the sensor for 70-85 bucks. Add that up and it is cheaper than getting it new. This is assuming the gauge works and you are getting the wiring harness' too.

Went to the dyno today and got horrible results - AEM V2 PNP 1JZ

So, too much dwell cooks a coil, too little dwell causes a coil not to be properly charged and a weak spark?

DWY (driving while young) should I tint?

I hope that's a joke. If your car is in an impound by the "police," they are responsible. Why on Earth would they not be? Poor guy loosing his car over an insecure compound. A law suit soon?

Figgie, He said the coils are Forecast Aftermarket coils which I don't believe are anywhere close to the strength of the stock Toyota coils. You can find them on RockAuto.

    early engine crossmember vs late

My 88 has a round mount subframe. Fits perfect. I bought the car like that, was swapped when the previous owner did the 1JZ swap. No modification to the frame.

    early engine crossmember vs late

The round mounts are square mounts. Late 89 allows JZ motors to be bolted in with OEM round mounts using 1JZ OEM Engine Brackets They are all interchangeable as I have swapped racks from an 88 to a 91.

Went to the dyno today and got horrible results - AEM V2 PNP 1JZ

Chip, OP stated he won't go into the AEM software as he is not sure how to an does not want to take chances that he could mess up something. So that is WHY I posted about grounds as that is something simple to check WITHOUT disapproving the dwell settings could be wrong.

    Newgen's 2jzgte Swap

What V2 you have? The 2JZ box? Part number? It's simple. PM your phone number an I will shoot you a call. Much easier to explain over the phone.

    Newgen's 2jzgte Swap

The solenoid is easy to hook up! Do it before the tune and save some money! All you need is the solenoid, a relay, wires and the low side output. I don't like the fact of having a 12V and a ground straight to the solenoid directly from the EMS. I will hook mine up by having a constant ground...

Went to the dyno today and got horrible results - AEM V2 PNP 1JZ

Only grounds needed would be: Chassis Ground To Negative Post Engine Block To Negative Post There is one from the firewall to the head but many members remove or it's been damaged throughout the years with little to no effects. Figgie, Yes, that's why I said it doesn't hurt to check them, a...

Went to the dyno today and got horrible results - AEM V2 PNP 1JZ

Chip, What is your problem? What posts in this thread were useless with incorrect info? I agree with the boost setup not having a factor but did you see my post saying anything that it did? Please point out the issues with my posts here and how I am pretty much useless. Don't drag your...

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=73 The GTE stock regulator has a spec of 33-40 without vacuum so you can start there. I myself have run the 43 Ian stated on a stock fuel system 7M with the Areomotive Regulator. If you click a page back, you will see where you...
