Nope didn't Jam anything in there or else my trans would of never bolted. I got mine from Lowes, i figured all the hardware stores would have em, guess not. I also went to a few parts stores around Montclair they had them but already had gotten some from lowes.

Do you have a cat? If not then i would say its just the smell of gas and air n a lil oil burning... but not 100% sure. I find that the vavle stem seals go before the turbos. I drove my car hard all the time and my seals were bad not my turbo's
home depot bolts aren't gonig to mess anything up if you get the following
Correct grade
Correct thread & pitch.
Search harder or use the 7M head bolts as previously stated. My 1J was sitting on a stand for longer then a yr with me flipping it upside down and my 2j the same as you know already...
go to lowes, ace, home depot. Thats where i got my bolts the times i put the engine on the stand.
or come by the garage and look through my box of bolts.
Check the CEL & Post back, i would say valve stem seals are going. I had that issue with my car when i finished my 1J swap, i ended up fixing the stem seals going 1.5JZ no issues with smoke now
Trust isn't the issue the tune is. My buddy pulled 576 on a 2j single with an SAFC n wideband IIRC. I'll have to talk with gonzy. As far as i know all he has is a wideband and safc2
Check if you feel fluid near the clutch pedal. That would mean the master cyl is going bad. Check for leaks in the lines and slave cylinder. If no leaks seem to be there rebleed your clutch system. If the same thing happens again, change the master cylinder, slave, and line.
I say open up the oil filter you just took off and look for anything in there. I would assume the oil pump is gone and do not drive rev or start the car or you'll need bearings next
