cool! I have a kenwood kac-746 which puts out 35watts/channel in 4 channel mode, and if the balance become an issue with the rears being too powerful I will probably just eliminate them. to get all four to run i'd have to run the headphone to RCA cable to an RCA splitter because the amp has...
man that sucks.
look on ebay for the stereo faceplate. you might end up finding yours...lol. (sorry...but seriously you can find a new one there that's probably where stolen ones end up)
insurance on this?
best of luck. i wonder if they left fingerprints.... or how expensive it...
I've been having some issues getting my stock-look stereo wired properly (1986.5 wiring is giving me hell) and with the recent thread on the Ipod Classic, i got this thought....
Why not just buy a nice MP3 player, run it to my kenwood amp's RCA inputs via a headphone-to-RCA conversion cable...
When i read the first post...i thought this thread was about how it feels to shove your head out the window at 100mph... lol.
Now for the bike/van comparison - I think the gyro effect of the wheels helps a lot probably... what i wonder is how a rider on a bike with little or no real...
Hey thanks Frank...actually yeah I had it parked a few nights outside and I haven't done that in a LONG time... and it was a few clear cold nights where the car was pretty freaking cold - and it was on a slant. that is/was the only time recently i've heard the 'waterfall' since before and just...
nice! did you get a whole new block, head, brake stuff and everything!?!?!?
that engine bay looks like it will look sweet...
i wonder what it would look like if you painted parts of your turbo that candy apple red... beautiful color.
That magazine taught me about and made me want a galant vr-4. and a 3000gt if the thing had run right for the showcase. but the galant was new to me at the time. i think i got this mag on accident before i got a supra and then realized the coolness of the supra after i read through the mag...
looks like you did a good job keeping things in order! you'll thank yourself for that later on ;)
Here is my beginning "what the hell am I doing" thread;

Here is my "I got it apart, cleaned, and organized, what the hell do I do...
your correct on the cause, that is exactly what happens, but you're incorrect at the rate at which 7mge's have this problem.
The design of the 7m engines give them inherent heat issues, especially near the EGR recirculation - back by cylinders #5 and #6. Pulling exaust studs out of the...
anyone want me to take some high-res photos so you can read the article? i wouldn't mind finding it i haven't read it in a while...
which, hopefully...will make the owner come back bigger and better with more refined things ;)
I personally think it's a neat change. i'm not sure what i think...
HAhaha...nice.
Duane - Does it make you feel good when people say stuff like this? I would feel so accomplished if i got in a magazine and people admired my car. They like my car now but I only have toyota to thank for that....
well...i got it running again but still i didn't design it...
WOW why are there so many people saying not to reuse the stock head bolts? the TSRM specifically does NOT list them as a part to replace in this ordeal. I went through this SAME debate when I did my BHG fix and ended up reusing them. This is the second time they've been reused if they were...
oh yes those were the rims that made me say something about how you call your car crap. those rims are awesome.
still...the ones on your car now still make me think you shouldn't call it crap.
even with sawblades.... its a nice car.
