I know there is another who is working on an ITB project!
But that aint build from the bottom as mine!
That is prefabricated and then with an adapter so it will fit the 7m/5m head!

My setup is different in many ways, and i think i have been working on it a bit longer than the other guy:)!

Awsome as always Jen's. Yes, Jen's is at least part to blame, for me getting involved with the other ITB setup. :D Anyone who gets 200+whp NA will have my attention real quick ...

they are SUPPOSED to have that much HP stock....

lol

I'm used to the 5/6m stock #'s, 130-160whp depending on mods. I have 2 6m's in the garage, 1 made 168whp, the other, 171whp "with gude cams, which are no longer in it"

Jens came along and at least showed me I was looking at all the right places. These engine will come alive pretty good, if you can feed them enough air. Fuel is easy ;) getting enough air, without boost, is the challenge.

Really nice work.

200 at the crank stock. Then I've seen 150-170RWHP depending on the milage and mod's. More mods 170-220whp

Would like to see some dyno numbers with the ITB's, I guess that's comming soon.

I'm the other. But Jens' dad and I have more in common. Appropriately, the inspiration for ITBs for me was not to remake the wheel but find our options.

I've run Webers for years in many configurations and was going to buy TWMs and the Toyota ITBs. The hunk of aluminum with which Jens began, where I live, costs over $500 dollars, unmachined.

I've reverse-engineered Jens build and the findings are reconcilable and posted. I've withheld his other modifications in due respect to his intellectual property.

When interest in the work we do wanders around to "how'd he do that or "I can't wait for a dyno..." it borders on disrepect to the amount of effort to just post a result. Jen's dyno is posted and a dyno run for you to watch and listen to, too.

AJ, U R part of the team and I'm not referencing your involvement. But I deal with engineers who are friends, both active and retired, and I have three dedicated, talented engineers/hotrodders that review my work. With them I have a realtionship that allows for progress on these obsolete powerplants.

We decided that noone was going to help by just asking for a dyno, so we started doing the work...on advise of the vice-president of a renowned and profitable horsepower supplier.

Can anyone draw his new dyno, over a stock motor? that torque is perfect though, with lots of high rpm power to back it up. Probably a very fun ride now. How is it at low throttle though? I would imagine a little bit of touchiness because of the short intake length. But probably wicked throttle response. Also, does the ignition show any signs of faltering with rpms? are you still using the distributor? I would love/cant wait to see this on a 7m with the better flowing head and extra valves! Would make much better use of the new free intake tract. Probably could take it to 7500 rpms with the right cams and better ignition
