Hi guys
So ive owned my MK3 for a year now , only drove it for a month . After a month of driving spun a rod bearing and I have been getting the funds together to rebuild ever since.
Rebuild is almost done , basically built a new car from 7M to new diff and new fuel tank Only the body has...
many similarities with the uras and vertex bodykits for the 180sx's and the 200sx's...hope this isnt a once of kit , this is the only kit that would made a pre 89 mk3 supra look even sexier (though Im sure many will disagree with me).
you guys are saying the 240 kit, would you have a link for this?Is it a kit made for another car (the 240sx) and adapted for the mk3 or is it uniquely an mk3 kit. Ive seen a number of kits for the mk3 and i thought my stock mk3 looked better then them all, until I saw this ...I want one!
Hi Guys!
So I've finally found the perfect bodykit for my 87 Supra. Does anyone have any idea what kit this is and where I'd be able to pick one up? I know its a longshot but damn this car is sexy.
Thanks
thats what I heard as well , but as stated already the spacers shouldnt hurt the supra. I also could not spend ever justify spending over $1500 on a set of rims....but there are some out there that make me want to. Yes I'l definetly be getting the proper spacers, like these -...
its seems like weve all come to an agreement , the pre 89 front is way better but the 89+tail is better looking..... now to get the best of both worlds....
After some research I've found you are right. The front change is in the 89+ models. Thanks for the correction. Anyway , I do agree with you, the rear in the 89+ models do look better to me (the pre 89 model tail lights are the only thing about it that makes it look outdated in 2011...thats how...
Hi guys
So I've kept this opinion to myself long enough....but now Im just gonna say it...the pre 89' models that had the grill all the way through look so much meaner then the 89+ models that had the grill "cut up" with the front bumper.
I mean look at this
As compared to this...
do i like them? yes , I love them , but as said above I know that most importantly it matters on how they look on the car.I was looking for grey rims,6 spoke, the drift teks where to common for me and the rg teks looked to much like the drift teks. anything more then 6 spokes I hate , and most...
oldsking: Ricey????What? I feel they are the furthest thing from rice , they are grey japanese rims , not some massive "bling bling look at me " 20inch chrome that adds 20000kg to the unsprung weight.these are surprisingly light as well.i guess we're all entitled to our opinion.
ct26smoker: I...
Hey guys , after taking what you said into consideration i confirmed with my mechanic about the sleeves - it went like this - he was supposed to bore it out and resleeve it but the guy who does the boring and honing didnt hone it to the forged piston size , so when my engine got back the damn...
ct26 Smoker: i think that you are right , it may be closer to 3.1L , it wasnt my choice though , as i was running oil so low , the pistons did a number on the cylinder wall so I had to get it bored and resleeved(this was before I got educated on proper 7M maintenance ).the trd cams were not...
