Yea I'm in the midst of swapping motor/trans. You need a different driveshaft. Make sure you get one for an R154 like Lewis said and not a W58 driveshaft. The shaft from the w58 won't fit the r154 and viseversa.

I'm sorry I didn't realize you had the car running when shifting the transfer case. Some cars will grind gears if the engine is running and you shift from neutral into any gear. Shut the car off and select the gear then restart. My 4runner is able to shift while running but my coworkers suzuki...

So I found a nice machine shop near by. I also found a good deal on some nice forge pistons 40 overbore. Gonna pick up a VG head from the local junkyd and have it decked and ported and polished. I'll see if I can get some pics up when I get them.
