My machine shop checked the main bores with the arp studs installed and found the bore became "egg shaped" A Line bore basically machines the bores until they are back to spec with the ARP studs installed. Like Hvyman just explained.

you can use freeze 12 just use ester oil if you do.

if youre leaking refrigerant then youre also losing oil which is also not good. charging it is fine if you want to spend the money only to have it leak out again. by r12 alternative I assume you mean hydrocarbon gas. it works although it may not be legal where you are.

if one seal is leaking you may as well replace them all. Seals are only $10 and a new drier is only $20.

You can still buy it just get your EPA 609 and have you not seen my thread on how to do the conversion yourself should you choose to do that?

No refrigerant, no pressure, no ac. However the fact you have no pressure means you have a leak and if was working a year ago it seems like you have a serious leak. Time to replace everything.

You got a 2.5GT Limited? Those are the only ones I know of that came with a targa. Im surprised its not a hardtop, since those are so common.

the radiators rock auto sells are good quality.
