They're ok but i'm gonna have to agree with everyone else. I would've went with a set of mkiv tt wheels fo sho! It's your car. If you're happy with it, then that's all that matters! IMO you should lower the car and post some pics.
yea I had to do mine when doing bushings all around. It was a PITA!!! There is probably a proper tool for it but I actually used a closed end of a wrench and an extra hand with some PB Blaster. After wiggling and pulling it came right out but you really do need an extra hand. Someone else might...

not necessarily. you might have a vacuum leak or something else. Plus putting a breather filter on it is just going to prevent dirt getting into your intake manifold/engine.
