well it isnt as accurate as the analouge and truthfully I prefer the analougue , just to many headaches with this one. Not working correctly as it is , have to pull it out and rewire it.
Sorry man , didn't read your post about the door jams , Il check when I get home today and post a pic if I...
its not just the photo , the actual etching is indecipherable, its too worn out
anyway heres the rear of the car
the front seats
the dash
and the front , just cuz i think she looks sexy..even with stock rims on
IMO even though some reds look sexy as hell , the black exemplifies exactly what the mk3 is about. Low , wide and loud :)
Rodels supra in the "clean mk3 thread" is a perfect example of that.

Hey
So I've decided to go ahead and buy a new battery. What would you guys recommend? I've heard good things about Optima Redtop or Odyessy etc..
At this point , I'm only putting the best in my car so money isn't really a factor with battery selection. Obviously looking for one with high...
seems to be a bad ground + massive parastic drain from somewhere( i can literally see the volts drop by 0.1 on my multimeter with the car switched completely off). Im just going to send it to the auto elec and get the wiring done brand new from the ground up.at least that way I have peace of...
thats ok man thanks for taking the time to explain the problem. In between work , rain and just plain inconvenience, I haven't been able to get the tools or the time required to gain the knowledge to solve the problem and not ask repetitive questions.
I have a larger number of resources and...
Hey, just found my car in the boostcruising classified in Feb 2010!

battery is fairly new, dont think thats it as it will hold its charge and only drop 0.1 V overnight if disconnected from the car (otherwise it drops by 4 whole volts!)
I have already cleaned the terminals etc...
Might be the old wires (this car was made in 1986 after all...)
what are...
Hi guys
OK so Ive posted something similar before but still no resolution. Was going to attempt to let the autoelec take care of this in between the r154 conversion but thats a bit delayed so thought Id tackle this on my own so I can at least start my car without the help of another. too...
initially I preferred to stay with my stock 340 but all the problems just became to much. Add into the fact that its a non turbo auto mated to a 7mgte...not going to last much longer.
No one around here in Sydney has the experience or knowledge to rebuild my a340 and im sure the whole exercise...
no problem , il keep you guys updated on progress, pics might be a bit hard with all the work been done at a workshop an hour away from me. Il try my best.

oh and check oil check oil check oil, nothing sounds worse then a spun bearing and the 7m's arent tolerant to low oil conditions at all....trust me I know....
hmm interesting you say this. I hope this is because its much cheaper in the states. I made sure I did my research before I agreed to buy it, and the cheapest reconditioned r154 in Sydney at this point in time is $2700 and a used one is around $1800 without the conversion kit and computer...
Ok so Ive been faithfully holding onto my auto since I got my car last year and finally I cant handle having to select 1st and 2nd gear manually. With the low idle problem it makes driving damn near impossible. Also the safety switch that locks the gear from moving from N to R is broken--> very...
