Thanks, yeah I'll be sure to update on my decision. It will probably be a while before anything develops, I'd like to see what the owner wants to do. Perhaps if it sits longer I can go throw him an offer...maybe ask to see under the hood and such. I would be tempted to offer 2k, and go up...
That sounds like a good idea. I'm hoping later on he gets a price in mind after researching...then maybe I can tell whether or not I want to even bother thinking about it. He DID say if I was serious, he'd photocopy my driver's license and let me take it for a spin. Tires are really low on...
I did NOT notice that....I saw some 'deflector' looking thing but I didn't pay attention to it.... HAHAHA....that's great.
He said he eyeballs stuff so that's why that tach is crooked. He eyeballed his hood scoops, his rear hatch/cover pins, and plans to eyeball the vents that apparently are...
Yea...just look at some of the cars, I think it's just uhm...their location? I didn't want to be rude but yes what you point out does look to be true....and it correlates well with their tastes.
I just dunno sometimes...some people have horrible taste, and myself being an artist it's...
very nice car, probably one of my favorites! I love how when the lights are up the black surrounds on the lights offset the black lip, looks very appealing.
what rims are those? Reminds me a bit of an NSX I've seen in my area....
UPDATE!
Today I crused by again and the owner was finally there! So as I was waiting for him to get off the phone I took a closer look, confirmed it's been repainted. Eventually as I was leaving the owner noticed me, came out, and said hi. We talked and here's what I know about the car...I'm...
You've got a point...lol.
Yeah they've got nice lines, I have a friend with a great looking blue formula bird of the same type.
I was in a really bad mood last night....it doesn't seem so irritating now but..yeah.
His car doesn't look too bad, once the rims matched the paint it gave it an...
Before you click....think about what that could possibly mean. I know I was confused.....
It's pretty stupid.
No...it's incredibly stupid. :3d_frown:
...so much, that it bothers me; and I have to share it with you so I know other people on this earth have taste, and a brain.
Go to post...
I know it's been answered but,
That magnet...isn't it denser than the rest of the flywheel?
...Meaning the immediately surrounding metal would need to be light-weight (aluminum) in order to balance the wheel?
...also maybe something to do with the magnet not directly touching a ferrous...
other than looks...is there a point to being hellaflush? because it looks far from anything very functional and when you race a car like that...the sidewalls rub. I saw an article on a car that rubs so much it CHARRED the PAINT on the fender!
I don't get it. Is looks simply the end? It...
agreed...and cystic fibrosis? Sounds expensive. Anywhere else he'd probably be severely in debt. Not to mention switching healthcare policies could make it IMPOSSIBLE to get carried anywhere else.... existing illness and all....
Could you put up more pics from driver's POV? Not like I'll be having any extra gauges ANY time soon but...it'd be neat to see what gauges you have and how it all looks from that perspective.
I wanted to ask some things here first...
I was kindly given an autocheck on the vehicle, and here's what I'm given for it's record....leading me to believe it's a single-owner car. Here is the very small (compared to my car) report, I omitted the city, and there is NO mileage record anywhere...
You're exaggerating on 90% right? We can't all be burning that much oil, unless you drive 100 miles every day... I burn a quart about every 3 weeks. every three days sounds pretty bad.. :(
