Just curious if anyone has any ideas on a a replacement hood blanket or someway to fix it. Its comings apart around the edges and looks horrible. I dont really want to just remove it either.
makes sense. I got the part number off my TPS and its the 91-97 sc300 not the 98+ like i thought. My wiring is 98+ so thats why i used that diagram. we will see but i think your right.
In the middle of a 2jzge swap into my 92, running the 7m wiring and ecu. Will the 2jzge TPS work with the 7m? I looked at the wiring and it shows the 2jz tps to have a vta2 instead of an idle switch. so that means 2 potentiometers in the tps instead of one and a switch
Still trying to figure this crap out with my 2000-2500 rpm misfire. It happens no matter the throttle position. never missing below 2000 rpm and above 2500. It seems to do it more when the engine is cold, but still does it hot.
Swapped the coil packs, ignitor, cps. Installed new plugs, wires...
So I've retimed it and installed a new TPS and adjusted it correctly. Still the same. missing at 2000-2500 rpm.
Also cut off all the injector connectors and resoldered all new ones on.
SO today I replaced the CPS, Ignitor, Coil pack, Coil pack ground wire and ran to the battery and its still the same. Ive gone over the wiring and all my piggyback wiring and Ive had no luck. Ive got another ECU to try and im gonna order a new TPS. I just dont know what to do.
Started having an issue where the car will cut out and back fire between 2000-2500 rpm. it happens in every gear no matter the throttle position.
need advice on what to start trouble shooting.
Ive checked codes and only have code 34 and know thats no the cause of this. Im pretty sure its...
Got the engine dropped in, but nothing else. I had to do it alone and wore myself out. Then all week i was too busy to mess with it.
For some reason photobucket is down and all my photos are gone as well. :: angry ::
