is the throttle plate fully open or just cracked? Mine was cracked open and I just bent the bar inward a little and it fixed the problem.

I did a full rebuild on my motor and as soon as it got to op-temp I broke it in at full throttle. I was told to by a old friend who races supras. So I did. I've been running this motor for almost three years now and no problems so far. Knock on wood.

Good one IJ. I just mounted mine between the radiator and the condenser. Mounted to the condenser. I have no A/C so I guess heat isn't a factor.

What about the internals? Just the gear and shaft.

I have 1990 supra turbo with an auto trans and the speedometer doesn't work. The speedo cable is fine and so is the gauge. My question is: Will a speedo drive gear from a r154 work in the automatic trans? And how do you replace it?
