I'm doing the auto to 5spd conversion along with my GTE conversion on my car. I have the 5spd ECU as well as the 5spd engine harness. What wiring issues am I going to run in to? Any advice on how to solve them? All I can think of is the dash harness not having the clutch safety switch in it...

I also wouldn't mind the black piece that is above the gauge cluster in CF. Seems like every one of those I have ever seen has been broken or cracked.

Do you guys actually recommend buying a gasket for the pan then? Or just use the nice black gasket maker and make it?

I tried, but as I recall, I searched for "4.30 differential fluid", and it didn't come up with much. where is the fill located? On the rear or front of the pumpkin?

Last question, is their a drain plug, or am I going to have to pop the cover?

To my knowledge my diff fluid has never been changed in my 4.30 LSD, and I think it is about time at 21 years and 91K miles. So, what do I need to use? I don't have the need to pay the dealership for this, as I have lift access and the ability to do it myself. Let me know guys, thanks.

Just thought I would share my results for some of the naysayers. With regular old run of the mill 5-30 I'd pull around 15-20 pounds of oil pressure at cold start idle, running up to around 39-40 above 2,500 RPM. Changed my oil and filter with the GC and a K&N today. Now I'm running right at...

Just went in to my local AZ today. Bought six quarts. Had both 07 and 08 date codes. There are at least 10-15 more quarts on the shelf.
