did you reset your ecu. Sometimes that helps. I think black but primer first. If all else fails get a valve and put it inline with the hose for idle control
mine did the same thing. I just bent the little lip on the core support down and it moved the radiator another 3/8's of an inch towards the front of the car. And that fixed the clearance problems.
Did you try setting your timing back to stock? I have heads shaved up to or below 30 and stock settings have always worked. Follow this http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?38775-How-To-basic-timing-instructions-CPS-alignment
Well I took it off last week because of the 108* weather we are having down here. I kept it for the winter. It just gets too damn hot. Does heat wrap and a turbo blanket really help that much?
My bay was getting extremely hot. Just like yours. Just ask spawntaker. I took my heat shield off my hood and my temps under the hood decreased drastically. And I also took the rubber seal off the back to let hot air out.
when I take my engines apart I just throw all my bolts in a bucket. In the end its just counting your bolts and your holes. But I have torn into my engines so many times I pretty much know where every bolt goes.
