Looks like you forgot to plug in the two wrie pump that goes to the solenoid on the rack. Look for a connector hanging around the AC compressor or under the manifold

Sounds like a weak battery - does this happen mostly in the morning time when it is colder? You may need a new battery with some good/minimum required Cold cranking AMPS. Battery gets weaker ( for the lack of a better term ) in the cold.

I like the Nissan Cefiro. One of my favorite cars from back in the islands. Nice to see it being showed around at meets. Curious to know how he got it registered....

if you can and have the means, do the 1.5JZ . I like the in town driving and off the line torque feel ( not that the 1jz lacks any) better off the line .

Yeah Monish, Mo's friend, is also a good buddy of mine. he lives 5 minutes away from me actually . I hooked him up with a nice clean free mkIII. Not sure if you and I have met..probably not yet..but one of these dyas ill get my mkIII running..not much left. I have a MkiIV as well so enjoying...

Do you need any engine parts? I will be in Modesto this weekend at my bro's place. I have some extra 7mgte parts like manifolds, intake/exhaust/water pump which is pretty new, etc etc. I will be near Briggsmore/Carpenter if that is anywhere around you. maybe can give you some pointers on those...
