No, the wires arent pulled out or anything, thats the way this dizzy is. its like it had about 2 inches of wire coming out of the body of the dizzy to the connector on the harness, however since both connectors were severed on both the dizzy and harness side, this is speculation. It basically...
Got it. I can GB these now! How would you guys like a carbon block off panel for $50 shipped? If i see enough interest i'll start a thread. Here's the deal, Juan JZ, if you wanted to send me your Lipp one I can make up a batch and return it to you at no charge since you lent me template. To do...
actually with things being as busy I just got a chance to go back to the car and realized thats actually not a pic of what I need. See that dizzy has a connector right on its body, ours doesnt. It has a red, yellow, green and white wire coming straight out the dizzy, no connector. They must've...
ZFast300Z = FTMFL ;)
Everyone rants and raves about it for a reason. Tomei is sick as well, but see, this is a Supra forum, get them to make one and i'll sell it
Lol need to look harder. Most of their stuff requires some kind of modification somewhere. Even their 7MGE headers dont fit right...
Ha ha, yeah I know, I've done that several times already. That sounds pretty much like the MKIII procedure. Even driven it for awhile because sometimes its takes actual driving to get all the air out but still absolutely nothing
Wassup Alex! So you're still gettin on here once in awhile huh...
Nope, all the flow is quite well. Its not very cold around here, not warm like sunny SoCal, but not too cold either.
Nope, no kinks. I think i've mentioned this a couple times
If call "flailing around" having performed every test that is performable and checking and rechecking several times...
Not so much. I have that diagram, it indicates the wires from the dizzy going to the connector and ECU all being the same color when the wires coming out of the dizzy BEFORE the connector ARENT the same colors.
I got plenty of turbo cars here, but thats different, how am I supposed to...
Oh yeah, theres an R in Reservoir I forgot. We're just a bunch of Reservoir Dogs...
I take it yours is turbo too right? PPS? The rack you put in is a PPS rack or no? If you put a new reman in and nothing, my idea of a new pump isnt looking good
I gess non uv us kan spelll
WTF are all Supras PS...
That was THE FIRST thing I tried. No dice, DISCONTINUED at every Toyota. Even talked to Jeff at Champion. PPS- progressive power steering, has the electronic solenoid on the rack
Um, I said I put used ones in it. I have 2 parts cars.
I also said I cleaned the hell out of the screen
Yep, Castrol...
So....
Had a customer w/ an 89 turbo PPS rack car that all of a sudden lost power steering, brought it in, pump was all whiny, full resevour, no foaming. I've done and checked EVERYTHING to no avail and finally came on here as a last resort and find I've already done what I'm supposed to...
After being down for 4 months for a total revamp its up and running LOUD, thanks to open downpipe :D
But this car always finds something to break from all the track abuse so we'll see....
SWEEEET dood, now this car can finally go home, lol
Thanks a bunch SupraCobra.... BTW are you calling it that because you're getting the Cobra brakes? lol
I been meaning to do the same thing recently. I need one because of my FRP hood now. Measure the length and the width of the LIPP piece and I may have some carbon sheets that size available
Then call a tranny a transmission, its what auto "insiders" call things ;)
So any pics yet? I dont think it'd be that hard for someone to take a picture of their distributor's harness connector on both sides considering this is in the 7MGE tech section. Everyone in here should have non turbo...
