what shop was it in canton? i would like to know so i dont ever take any of my cars there. by the way, i beleive i saw your mk3 last summer on the raod a few times.
it is anoying gettting revved at by every 16 year old that haas an eclipse, neon, civic, accord, or cavalier. and i agree that newer hondas are crap. my mom has an 06 cr-v and has already done the rear calipers, rear diff, and torque converter on the car. it doesnt even have 70,000 miles on it yet.
if you can get a newer d series for heap, i would just that route. parts for the d series are sooooooooooo cheap. im boosting the a6 thats in my 90 SI. my total in parts will be about the same a b16 swap, but hopefully around 220hp, instead of 160 from the b16.
70 bucks for a mosin? thats a pretty insane deal. i paid 80 for my mismatched m44 and 109 for my matching 91/30. for anyone that owns a mosin, here is a pretty coool website/forum for the mosin nagant: http://7.62x54r.net/
its the same way here in rural/suburban ohio. plenty of civics and and other imports with ebay spoilers, and fartcans. and they are all NOT modified properly. i looked at an 89 hatch with a b16a3 swap before i got my 93 teg. the wire harness was all hacked up and the ecu was just laying on the...
for that kind of power he would have to ditch the stock 11:1 cr pistons for either gs-R pistons which are 10:1 cr or get aftermarket 9:1 cr pistons. tuning with boost on 11;1 would be a pita.
My irst "real" car was a 96 dc2 gs-R. intake/header/exhasut, coilovers and larger swaybar. it...
i ahte some hondas, like the 89 accord i had in high school. 2.0l, 2bbl, 5,000 mles of vacuum lines. that thing was a pain to trouble shoot vacuum leaks on.
yes a tree falling down does make a noise. and about the Type R, most ricers cant afford one. the information i got about the handling has come from a few different car mags, one of which was titled the 10 best handling cars for under 30k.
youi should be able to pick up either a d15b7 or d16a6 for za couple undred bucks. they both make around 105hp and will still get decent gas mileage. for the d16a6 you could do either obd0 or obd1, and for the d15b7, obd1. keep an eye on craigslist, im sure someone in your area will be pulling...
lol well there some fags on there...
to the op: yeah it should work as long as you get all parts needed to run the SI electronics and manifolds. its probably choking because that second flapper is not opening when it should.
