All I want to know is if it is beneficial to anneal their metal headgaskets prior to reuse? And if so, what type of steels they use, what temp, and how long?
Cheers.
IJ, you're the only one out there that's talked about annealing so I'm hoping you have some constructive imput.
Check that your taillight lenses are tight against the black trim, mine were gaping open up to an 1/8 all along the top. I just filled it in with black silicon.
Like everyone else said, seals seals seals, that's what they're for.
If you want to get fancy you could put a vacume hose (like...
Pray that it comes off nicely with the cooler plate. I fixed this for a friend once... it was nicely stuck to the head :icon_evil
Lube up the tops of your hands and your wrists. Your hands will still be bruised and swollen after, just not as bad.
There wasn't even a beach where we had the show. That park near the bridge was the shizzle.

PS your intercooler was shite anyways :p

sorry, i wasn't very clear. It is already ground to the body, I can't find the rest of the wire that came off the harness (that's where i assume it comes from). it's a black wire, 12g?.
I found that my ground wire E was cut/torn and I can't find the other half. Anyone know where it connects to? Eg harness, or point on the fuse/relay panel? The wire is cut roughly 3 inches from where it's ground on the body.
You probobly don't even have to take them off the rail, just rotate them with it mounted. If it seals, keep an eye on it for a few days and save yourself a trip to the store. If it doesn't seal, get new o-rings (cheap cheap) and do it right. The TSRM and Haynes manual describe the whole...
