Looking for some info. Suppose I buy an aristo 2jzgte and adhere to CA smog laws. I know its a legal swap and would involve a referee to inspect. What all would I need from a USDM 2jzgte to get an Aristo swap legal. I realize the Aristo is missing all the smog equip and I'm hoping someone out...
I agree that track is incredible. It's almost like the Isle Of Man for cars. I think I could spend half my time there and the other half on the autobahn, I sure wish our highway engineers had to serve sometime anylizing the construction of that freeway and incoprate some of it here in something...
I haven't had mine on long enough to do a fist change but when I do I'll post some cut open pics also. I run a Wix 24069 I get them from NAPA. I recently had my dash removed I went and picked up the heater core and soldered it together no more losing water. This is first time since I got the car...
I only buy tires made for the rain since any cheap ass tire does half way decent when dry it's those few days a year when my Goodyear F1' s give me what I need to feel comfortable while driving in the rain. It's not my car I'm worried about in rain it's all the people driving 30K cars with 30.00...
Just an FYI, Discount tires is owned by Tirerack now as well as a few others like Evans Tire. I bought a set of Goodyear rain and snow tires from Tirerack and had them 2nd day fedexed for 55.00 to my daughter in Alaska cause she was getting prices in the 200.00 a tire range up there. I've been...

I thinking about getting a set of eibach lowering springs and wondered if there are rubber seats both ends of the springs sit on to prevent metal to metal contact. I tried looking it up in the TSRMS but it didn't look that detalied. I would like to have all the parts needed before I do any work...

Bad thanks for that input. So I would imagine First thing I would need to aquire is a CA dead 2jz to get the smog equipment like the egr, etc.? What about the computer, would the jdm computer that comes with a jdm 2jzgte work with the added CA equipmentor would it be best to look for a CD...
I run goodyear F1's so to go to a 17" rim or even bigger the cost skyrockets so I'm sticking with 16" since 245/50-16 gives me the height I want and the sidewall bulge I like plus a very smooth ride, not to mention they stick like glue.
I recently saw a car show which featured a corvette with a turbo system mounted in the rear end of the car. It didn't even need mufflers or an intercooler, thought was pretty wild.

This is cool when you’re busy with your car and earning money to mod it, most likely you don’t waste time killing others.
