Sounds like a short or loose wire to me, and under hard excel the wire moves and shorts or losses connection. I would turn the car on and wiggle every wire I could find and see what happens.
Looks good dude,
I have a question.....is the hood really that short up front, looks like there is a 2" gap between the hood and the header panel. I'm wanting to get one of Duane's hoods and would like to know if this is a problem with the hood or that header panel.
Yes, you have to have it tuned or if running a piggy back, tune with the more agressive ECU maps. I'm wanting to run a MAFT pro, so I'm having to make up my mind if I want to do it with the stock ECU or the Mine's.
Wow, I don't know how I didn't see this.
Yes there are Mine's ECUs for our cars. One for 87-88 and one for 89+. (I have one for 87 manual) They are a moded stock ECU with a daughter board added. The daughter board is programmable, Usually they have removed the rev/speed limiter, removed fuel...
Thanks Jake, My thoughts exactly, I liked the bump and knew it would look great with fogs, but not so good without.
Sorry, no write up, they were a PITA!
It's a Jegs duel 1" core Universal aluminum radiator. It's just called a "Mustang", because it has the Ford layout for the in and out. (I noticed on Jegs site that they have changed it to say "Ford/Chrysler-style" instead of Mustang).
Thanks, they're not too custom, I just basically had to merge two lights to make them look like they were meant to be together and fit in the opening, then covered one with yellow lamin-x. I'll get some close ups later.
Exactly, my new bump is not painted at the moment (just put it on this weekend),.. Well I guess mine is rice.....until I get it painted :icon_conf
Too bad I'm not rich and can do it all in one day so no one sees it "under construction"..
