j tube is blocked off yes. and update, changed vac line and put new clamp on one coupler. now it does it at select times,, and the safc IS working. ran out 1st and second and let off-no bog, cruising and building boost from low rpm in third gear-Bog above 4 psi.. I just find this really...
im not sure, i dont have to apply a serious amount of force, but more than usual for sure, only thing that i personally can think of as to why only that gear is that maybe that gear has more wear. other than that idk.
is the motor thats in the 92 in the picture the same thats in it now? if so thats a ge, which would also explain the knock if he turboed it. unless i misread. Regardless welcome To owning an mk3.. 92'spwnall :)
Did you bleed the slave? sounds like a fluid/pressure problem as you say it helps to double clutch.
EDIT: My second gear is a little stiff going in too. but if i apply a little force it usually goes in, without grinds.
So i reset my timing yesterday, as it was way out of wack, got everything back together timing was at 10 deg. with e1 and te1 in. and between 10-15 deg with them out. so the car was running great now. i drove it about 35 miles. and was coming around a bend during"Spirited" driving lets say.. in...
looking at a decent street car. kinda like a weekend warrior kind of deal. im not sure as far as the amount of boost im looking to run. but i will prob go with the t67. never steered me wrong before.. Thanks Guys
If anyone knows of a site to view these at, i would really love to know.. i've done some research to no avail... looking for production number breakdown specifically for 1992, to see just how rare mine is. would prob be a good sticky for future use... Thanks
