Nah. I wont hit the lower arm if I just change the outer rim. It will hit if I go much wider on the outer rim (for more lip) and go narrower on the inner rim.

Yes. Outer rim only. I'm on 9.5 +36. So after it gets widened, it will be either 11.5+36 or 12+36

But my HREs that I own now won't be getting that offset after its been widened. Remember, 12" +36.
