How much cash do would you estimate to convert a turbo model from auto to a R-154 ? If i did it my self or paid a shop to do it. I know it changes depending on shop but what do you think i should expect?

What is a W-158 ? I know the W-58 N/A transmission. Also he said it was in a front end collision. I don't know tho just been looking around. My main problem was that the car did not have a R-154. But yea thanks your input ill keep looking

ya i have been looking for awhile cant seem to find much of anything as far as a 5speed turbo goes. that is under 3k kinda bent on cash and since mine is wrecked now im worse off lol

F-It im just going to take out my motor every night and put it in my room chaining it to me while i sleep :) but they will more then likely just still me too.

Wiring or not this was just a place for people to get help on how to do this to there car if they choose to and need it.

so how do i identify the things i need to. and what do i do cut the starter wire or wire the other into it

I have just a couple of questions. I can not find the Brown Clip on the starter is it under? Does anyone know the color of the original starter wire? Am i sapost to run the other wire directly into the starter wire ? As i know i am just ruing one wire to a brown clip and another to the...

So one question ? When i do the swap and use the auto tranny i already have the ecu wont be a issue ? I just use the GTE ECU ?

good to know i wasnt sure because it is bundled with all the starter wires.

yea thats a idea but i would be worried of bigger problems but i guess you could see if the BHG caused any more damage right?

Really some of the ones on there seem pretty good shape. But what would you go with or how would you go about finding one.

Thanks how much do you think it will run me on avg. for motor and ecu/harness. i have seen a couple o ebay $1100 or so. is that a good price/place to buy ?

I know this was just a place that i was going to use as a personal reference so if i run into a problem while i was doing doing it i could just ask from here in case i couldnt find it. I have done tons of research and will do alot more but there are always things i might not know.
