okay, well someone answer this to me...first off, i have a rapid-paced ticking sound at 2000-2500rpms, after that, its gone...well, whenever i changed my oil when i first got the car to full synthetic 10w30...it was around this time i think that i noticed the ticking sound...well on my oil...

hahaha...in my room, consists of a full body kit standing up on end against my tv stand, 2 sets of wheels...yes, 2 SETS...8 rims...an extra tire(ya never know), ALL of my interior behind and under my bed, some stock engine parts...man, ya gotta love it.

well my car fires up fine, no sounds, when i drive or rev it up...once it hits 2000-2500rpms, it gets this very rapid paced ticking sound...but once i go past 2500 or so it stops and its the nice n smooth rev. well if i rev it up hard from like 1000 to 5000rpms, it doesn't tick. i am pretty sure...

i'd be down with a 2-day'er. we do need to make some kind of date....at least narrow it down to w/in a couple weeks....MATT, its all you lol. and let me make sure if i'm correct, this is just MK1-3's right? okay, well. good. :)

okay...i "HAVE" heard my share of rodknocking...and what occurs under my hood...well, maybe i am just a dummy...motor sounds nice and clean, but if i rev slowly, at about 2000-2500rpm's, it makes a ticking sound, loud, and very fast, but after 2500 or so, it stops and is the nice clean...

welp...im a jackass for not saying something when i posted that last message but... I DONT HAVE ANY POWER STEERING. so i guess i can cancel that one out. to better describe the sound, it sounds(feels) like the vibration from somebody's sub system...but only for like one wheel rotation going 10...

drjonez- yeah, my bad. i have never really studied up on or bothered to pay attention to is300 motors too much...i knew the sc300 is "like" our motors...so i guess i should've put 2+2 together... $%@!$ %!#@, god! :(
